Warning and How To Install Fonts: Microsoft Windows lists
all installed fonts in the WIN.INI file, which
cannot be larger than 64k.
Installing hundreds of TrueType fonts that are rarely used can
result in the WIN.INI file being truncated, which can cause
serious errors and unpredictable operation. Loading a large
number of fonts can also have a dramatic effect on the
performance of Windows. Here are step by step instructions
on how to install new fonts on your computer using Windows95
Click on Start/Settings/Control Panel/Fonts Icon.
This will access your fonts folder. Click on File/Install
new Fonts
This will open the Add Fonts window. Select the folder
where the downloaded font files are saved. Select Drive
"C" and check the Copy fonts to folder box.
Under the List of Fonts dialogue box at the top you should see
the fonts you downloaded. Hit "Select All" and
"OK". (Or, only select the font file you
wish installed.) Like magic they will all be added to your
font folder.
Fonts NOT to remove : I've created a fonts sub-page just for this list. Got it from my friend Joe is the king of Fonts. he has thousands of them. He's also a great source of knowledge about how to manage them. He reccomends something called HP FontSmart to help 'manage' them btw. see just below :

Surf Madison's free fonts downloads - This is in Surf Madison's file libraries, ..the 'Clip Art, Graphics, Fonts' from the menu there. Look down that list and you'll finf 'Fonts' listed. That's the one to click!
Media Builder FreeFont Library (HotBot lists this as the Font site with the most direct hits)
