Chicken and Rice

CHICKEN AND RICE

Ingredient Amount
Fryer chicken, cut in pieces 1
Seasoned salt To taste
Paprika To taste
Rice, regular (uncooked) 1 cup
Water (or chicken broth) 2 cups
Dry onion soup mix 1/2 package
Cream of mushroom soup 1 can
Water 1 soup can


Season chicken with seasoned salt and paprika. Grease a baking pan (9 X 13 inch) and sprinkle rice over it evenly. Mix onion soup mix and water. Pour mixture over rice, then place chicken pieces on top. Pour mushroom soup mixed with water over top of chicken and bake uncovered for 1 1/2 hour at 350. Cover dish with aluminum foil and bake 1/2 hour longer.
