Chili Cheese Toast

CHILI CHEESE TOAST

Ground beef 1 pound 2 pounds 3 pounds
Onion, chopped 1 medium 2 medium 3 medium
Garlic powder 1/8 tsp 1/4 tsp 3/4 tsp
Flour 1 Tbsp 2 Tbsp 3 Tbsp
Chili powder 1 Tbsp 2 Tbsp 3 Tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp 1 tsp 1 1/2 tsp
Tomatoes (16 oz can) 1 can 2 cans 3 cans
Corn (16 oz can) with liquid 1 can 2 cans 3 cans
Olives, chopped (2 oz can) 1 can 2 cans 3 cans
Cheddar cheese, shredded 4 ounces 8 ounces 12 ounces
Bread (white) toasted 6 slices 12 slices 18 slices


1. Mix ground beef lightly with onion and garlic powder and brown.

2. Stir in flour, chili powder, and salt, then tomatoes, corn & liquid, and olives; cover. Simmer, stirring several times, 15 minutes. Stir in cheese just till melted.

3. Spoon over toast.

NOTE: I make the meat mixture in quantity and freeze in serving size containers.
