Research into my family history is my newest interest.
Most of my ancestors entered the English colonies through Virginia and the Carolinas. They followed the traditional migration routes through the South to Louisiana where I was born. My wife's ancestors settled and stayed in Virginia and what became West Virginia. You may view the results of this research by clicking on this link:

I have added a lot of information on my Ragsdale and Kuhn/Coon ancestors
I have changed the format of the data. I now use a program called Second Site, by John Cardinal, to create the web pages, provide an index and build ancestral charts. It works directly from the data base of my genealogy program. John's site is at: click here to visit Second Site . It is recommended if you use "The Master Genealogist" as your genealogy program and want to build a very nice website.
Little by little, I will be adding new data. So stop by from time to time to see what additions have been made. Some of the planned additions are:
Dickert Family Bible - dated 1831 - records for the family of Elias Dickert. I know that I have been promising this for a long time but I will try to get to it soon.
I will be periodically updating the files for each surname above with new data from the 1910 and 1920 Census as I complete the research.
Pictures of my Adkins/Cason ancestors and relatives that were taken in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Other pictures will be added as I find them.
Corrections to McKenzie data supplied by a cousin.
