Cat Healthcare Links

One of my cats has numerous medical problems that require special treatment. Oliver suffers from asthma and diabetes. In early 2000, he had his left front leg removed as a result of bone cancer. In addition to Oliver, my cat Maurie, who passed to Summerland in 2000, suffered from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, was FIV+, and went into renal failure just before he died.

In effort to better understand what was going on with Oliver and Maurie, I searched the Internet for information on their problems. Not only did I learn a lot, but my research also helped me develop questions to ask my veterinarian.

Here are some links to sites that discuss cat healthcare. Please e-mail me with suggetions as to links that should be included in this list. And here is wishing you a long, happy, healthy life with your cats!
