Special Ministries Endeavoring to practice what we preach, and to be obedient to our Lord's commands, we seek to minister to the needs of others. To our beloved Senior Saints: Keenagers was begun in the winter of 1980 to create fellowship and a sense of worth. Covered dish luncheons, Bible study, music, one-day trips, and special activities are all part of the program. To our Nursing Home Residents: Members volunteer to minister to these precious folks in various ways. In addition to Bible studies, music programs and parties, we listen, love, and share. To our Shut-Ins: A tape ministry was begun in the early months of 1980 by the Brotherhood. A cassette player is provided for each home and tapes of the morning worship service is delivered each week by one of our volunteers. Also, a new ministry begun in 1985 which we call our Homebound Ministry. Volunteers are assigned shut-ins to visit during the month. They take literature and other material to them and inquiries are made as to other needs they may have. Prayer is always shared. The spirit and gratitude of our shut-ins is a constant blessing to those who visit them. To our Members: To assist our families and encourage them to take advantage of several Wednesday evening activities we provide a church supper at 5:45 PM. We eat together, pray together, and study God's Word together. Truly this is an oasis in the middle of the week. See our Schedule of Services for other opportunities for worship. Hospital Visitation: Each staff member has a scheduled hospital day. Please help us by notifying the church when you or a member of the family enters the hospital. This list represents a small part of our ministries. As God gives direction, we shall follow. We want to minister to you and your family in every way we can.
