On Monday evening, January 25, 1904 the Pitlochrie Burns Club held their annual dinner at Scotland's Hotel. The menu
included such traditional items as cock leekie soup, haggis, and mutton with plum pudding and apple tarts served as the
sweets. Among the speakers on the Toast List that evening was Mr. J.H. Scotland, offering reply to "Mine Host."
