Pictured above is the combined family of Edward Steel and Jessie Scotland. Eliza Jane and Margaret Steel were Edward's two daughters from his second marriage to Jessie Ann Clark. Elizabeth Scotland was the daughter of Jessie Scotland. Judging by the appearance of the girls in the photo, this portrait was probably taken around the time of Edward and Jessie's marriage. The photographer was J. Gibb of Dundee.
