Troop 101 holds regular meetings at The Aurora Elks Lodge in Aurora on Monday nights. Interested boys who have completed the Fifth Grade (or have turned Eleven) and not yet Eighteen years old are invited to visit us anytime. Please email the Scoutmaster for the address and time and also to be sure we aren't away on some fun outing.

We have a lot of fun in the Troop, doing things like Camping, Rifle Shooting, Canoeing, Rock Climbing, hiking, and Fishing to name a few. The really neat thing is, The Boys are the leaders! We decide what we want to do, plan it, and, as long as the parents approve everything, we do it! The parents and Adult Leaders are there to help us anytime we need it, but they like it when we do the work. After all, we are the ones who are training to be "future leaders"

Troop 101 has been continually chartered for nearly 55 years. To stay in existence, all Boy Scout troops must have a Charter Organization. Ours is the Aurora Elks Lodge, B.P.O.E. 1921. The Elks Lodge provides us with a meeting place and also helps to ensure that we have trustworthy adults as leaders and that those leaders are getting properly trained.
