1. Only use 100% cotton (quilt quality) material that has been pre washed.
2. Be sure that the seam allowance is a scant 1/4" and that the finished block size is accurate.
3. Once the due date has been set please do your best to keep your commitment. I realize that things happen that we have no control over, should this occur please contact the hostess and see if it is possible to get an extension,or let her know that you have to drop out of the swap.
4. Block directions are available at the Quilters Cache.
5. Have fun. Make new friends. Did I remember to say HAVE A LOT OF FUN!!!!!
6. All swap items must reach the hostess by the due date, unless an extension has been granted. IF someone fails to mail their swap items, the extras meant for them will be returned to the original sender(s).
SET SIZE - 6 blocks per set and each person may submit up to five (5) sets per swap. If submitting more than one set please use different fabric for each set. But keep in mind that there is the possibility of getting duplicates and/or some of your own blocks back if you send in multiple sets or we only have a few participants.
COLOR SCHEME - Red, white and blue for the first swap.
Burgundy, forest green and taupe for the second swap.
Yes prints are acceptable as long as they read true to the color scheme.
If there is enough interest I will gladly continue this on a bi-monthly basis. I am also open to suggestions for more color schemes that you might be interested in doing. I can be reached at hostess. Please put Mini Tic Tac Toe Swap in the subject line.
Blocks will be due on or before September 15th. I will have them all swapped out and in the return mail no later than September 30th.
MAILING - Place each set of blocks in a zip lock bag and be sure to label this with your name, mailing address and email. Place your set(s) in mailing envelope with another self addressed stamped envelope, so the hostess can return your swapped out blocks upon completion. STAMPS ONLY, NO METERED STRIPS!! Your hostess will not be able to mail out any with the metered strips as they are dated.
