The Brownies form lines, at arm's length from each other, all facing the same way. One Brownie is the cat, another is the mouse. The cat chases the mouse along the rows. |
| When the leader shouts change, the Brownies turn a quarter turn, so the rows go up and down, instead of side to side. The cat and mouse must not go under anyone's arms. | |
| When the cat catches the mouse, they change over, and two more Brownies have a turn. | |
