Greetings from the Rector
On behalf of our Vestry and congregation, I want to welcome you to Trinity’s Web Site and invite you to be part of our community. We are an Episcopal parish (one of 138 in the Diocese of North Carolina) which has served the Mount Airy community since 1896. We belong to the world wide Anglican Communion begun during the Reformation. This spirit filled community continues to thrive in diverse fashion today with some 77 million members seeking to proclaim Christ’s healing love to a broken world.
Our mission statement asserts that we are "living, loving, and growing in the body of Christ." Through sensitive pastoral care, individual and common prayer and concern for one another, along with generous outreach to those in need, we seek to spread the good news of God’s reconciling love in Jesus Christ to everyone. We grow together as we study the bible, participate in the sacraments, sing, pray, and worship together. We offer Christian formation opportunities for all ages and fellowship occasions abound.
If you are interested in joining Trinity or need information regarding marriage or baptism, please contact the church office. May God’s peace and blessings be with you.
Faithfully,
Ray Hanna
Rector
