My Faith

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that Jesus came to earth as a baby, was crucified on the cross for my sin, and rose again the third day.  Now He is in Heaven preparing a place for me.

I believe that God's children (those who believe Christ died for their sins & is their savior) are put in this world to bring glory to God.  Just because we are Christians, does not mean that we will not suffer.  But when we suffer, we have Hope that God will help us through it.

God is so good.  Because of my pain and disability, I have had lots of time to spend reading my Bible and getting to know my Lord better.  In this respect, I am happy for my pain as it has drawn me closer to God.

I have read many books to help me through my pain.  My favorite is "When God Weeps" by Joni Earekson Tada and Steve Estes.  It helped me to get through the guilt and depression associated with my disability.
