A LITTLE BIT ABOUT OUR FAMILY

We are a family that began with 5 humans, consisting of a mother, Lillian, father, Mike, one son and two daughters, but has now grown to include an almost daughter-in-law, Penny and a son-in-law, Adam, as well as 4 grandchildren and several animals.

Our son, Stephen, along with his girlfriend, Penny and her two sons, Eric and Nicholas moved to Moncton On Jan 21, 2004. Stephen had lived in Ontario for the past 11 years.

Our oldest daughter, Shelley, got married on June 16, 2001, to a wonderful guy named Adam. They live in Albert Mines, N. B. with their daughter Karlee, who was born October 20, 2002 and their daughter Lora, who was born September 16, 2004.

Our youngest daughter, Kristy, graduated from St. Thomas University in May of 2003. She worked for the summer with the Dept. of Family and Community Services and is now working for School Dist. 2, in Moncton as a Teachers Assistant.

The non human members of our family consist of two Golden Retrievers, named Tikka and Ben, a cat named Cinder, a parakeet named Binny, and some fish.

Steve and Penny have two dogs named Kiwi and Buddy and three cats and a rabbit.

Shelley has a dog named Jeep, a cat named Macy, a love bird named Lucy, a horse named Roper and Karlee has a pony named Angel.

Kristy has a dog named Tie, two cats, Jasmine and Ozzie, and a fish named Percival.

Over the years we have had a lot of fun and a lot of experiences with animals, both our own and in the wild.

We have had a few very special pets who have gone to Rainbow Bridge.

Princess was a collie/Irish Setter mix who died of cancer when she was almost 11 years old. Candy, our dog for almost 13 years, was a german shepherd/border collie mix, who died of cancer. Finnegan was a beautiful orange tabby cat who died at only 1 1/2 years old with a blocked urinary tract. Spooky was Kristy's rat. Spooky died in October 2000. We are not sure how old she was, as she was given to Kristy at university.

We are lucky to live in an area where we can enjoy the presence of several types of birds, especially ducks and ring-necked phesants. We have had as many as 20 phesants in our yard at one time. Each spring we usually have visitors such as these.

My husband and I both enjoy the sport of hunting and we love outdoor activities such as camping. We have a camp in the woods where we spend a lot of time from spring to late fall. Our dogs especially like it there.

This is our camp.
