this is where it all started - about 15 years ago. and who would've thought that we'd still be best of friends after all those years - considering that we've lived most of that 15 years away from each other and how different we all have grown from one another.
it is only by God's grace.
we all know that if not for Him, we wouldn't have this special bond between us. it is a gift that God has given to us. a gift of friendship - with one another, and with the Lord. ang galing nga eh! kasi hindi lang namin nakilala ang isa't-isa, nakilala din namin si Lord. hindi lang ang friendship namin ang nag-grow, pati rin ang relationship namin kay Lord.
i don't recall the exact date, not even the year when we all first met. 'di ko rin nga maalala kung kailan kami nag-simulang mag-church sa FBC. but one thing i know for sure - it was God's perfect time for all of us to meet.

ang na-reremember ko na lang, ay yung magkakakila-kilala na kami. we used to go sa sunday school together. then whenever there were programs sa church, kumakanta kami, nag-dra-drama or nag-re-recite ng mga Bible verses. then pag-summer, meron kaming DVBS(daily vacation bible school). we were all active sa church. kami ang "kids" ng church nung mga musmos pa kami. then nung medyo tumanda na, kami naman yun naging "youth group". of course there were other members na kasama namin.
part din kami ng church choir. i remember meron pa kaming group A and group B. ang group A ay ang mga soprano - bing, leah, patite (and i guess kung kumakanta na si yam 'non, soprano din siya). ang group B naman ay ang mga alto - chenggay, me, tin and vina. nakakatuwa!!! kaya tuloy naging mas-close si manang bing at si leah, then kaming tatlo naman ni rach at ni tin. si vina and si patite naman ang magka-chika, cause they were the youngest. si yam, bata pa siya 'non eh.
remember ko rin how we used to be late sa mga choir practice namin. kasi saturday night ng 7:30 ang choir practice. eh palabas ang mcgyver ng 7:00. eh di bitin kami kung aalis kami ng 7:30, diba? kaya ayun!!!! tinatapos muna namin yung palabas. hehehe!!!! fave kasi namin si mcgyver 'non eh (kami ni rach). i think wala na si tin nung time na 'yon. nandito na siya. but of course, we don't do that every saturday kasi mapapagalitan kami (pag-replay lang yung mcgyver, we go sa practice on time...hehehe!!!!). hay naku!!! those were the days.
when we were still little kids, kumakanta na rin kami. buong kid's album pa nga eh. we did the Kids Praise albums, God's Project and yung Pambatang Papuri. i wish we had pictures for all of it. kaya lang tinamad siguro kaming kunan ng aming mga parents. kasi konti lang ang nakita ko sa album namin eh.
well, siguro mas mag-eenjoy kayo looking at our pictures kaysa sa pag-basa ng mga kuwento ko. those pictures will tell you stories din naman eh.....
