1. What are you doing now?
I am a Manager in Global Supply Chain Management for Tricon Global Restaurants (Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and KFC). We were spun off from PepsiCo in 1997. I am responsible for the global sourcing strategies of four major products for our brands. I have lived in Dallas for four years.
2. Are you married? When? Kids? How old?
Married to Kevin Easterwood, since April 25, 1998. Mr Holtberg was at our wedding! Debby Tuck, Kerry Ford and Melissa Longley were in my wedding party. NO KIDS, but our cats, Max, George and Samantha-Ann are our babies.
3. Most exciting thing to happen to you since we graduated.
Mmmm..I would have to say getting married. Never really thought about getting married until Kevin walked into my life in 1996 and nine months later we were engaged. Marriage has made my life so much cooler.
4. Any graduate work?
I finished my MBA in Finance at SMU in 1997
5. Who do you most want to contact from our class/expect to see at the reunion?
I would love to see Rita Arifin again--we caught up in NYC last year after 10 years, and it was exactly the same as when we were sitting in Typing class acting like drunk schoolgirls.
6. Funniest memory from HKIS?
I have to be honest, I read Anjali's before it was published, and she said everything I would have said (if I'd remembered it without her bringing it up!). I will never forget acting like a lesbian with Rita and Melissa to get sailors away from us. Fighting with Anjali about our tent in Nepal--after one Interim together, you'd think we would have learned to NOT share the other two we went on together--just kidding, Anjali! Timed typing versus Tabbed typing. Our RIDICULOUS basketball team--Melissa Longley, Debby Tuck and I should not try anything athletic ever again! Coffee houses--I'd love to see tapes from that and hear what the bands really sounded like! The time my parents "crashed" the In Place in 9th grade and Kerry and I fled to avoid being seen. Debby and my crushes on guys three years younger than us...they were 15!
7. What was your "Ten Years From Now?"...Did it happen?
It was "a professional model who's still scared to go anywhere alone"...given that I'm 100 pounds heavier than any model today, it did not happen! I still don't like to wander around alone, though!
8. Now that we've grown up, are you what you wanted to be? What do you want to be?
I don't think I really thought about what I wanted to be when I grew up until I was already grown up and I didn't have the luxury. I would love to get into professional event planning though--doing something from my home that brings fun into someone else's life.
9. Favorite HKIS teacher? Least favorite?
Mrs Keegan was pretty cool, how she put Anjali in her place :). I don't really remember disliking anyone, actually.
10. How many cities have you lived in since graduation?
Went to college in Lewisburg, PA, lived in NYC for two years, then moved to Dallas for business school in 1995…so, three cities.
