Reunion Survey Answers 1999
1. I'm currently working in administration at a large hospital in Minneapolis called Fairview-University Medical Center. I work in Spiritual Health Services with the chaplains doing a variety of services. I'm also "finishing my degree" at Northwestern College in St. Paul in psychology and hope to be done by the end of 1999! I'm looking very forward to that!
2. I am not married and have been single all-along. I do not have any children.
3. Most exciting thing?! So many exciting things have happened. Travel is definitely one of my favorites. I was able to spend a considerable amount of time in Israel, Egypt, Europe, and Mexico in the years since graduation. However, enjoying and living life to its fullest are always full of exciting events and I'm always grateful for that. Can't pinpoint one thing, sorry!
4. Does graduating from massage therapy school count? No, I haven't done any graduate work.......as of yet!! I'm in the planning stages still! Seminary is definitely an option in the foreseeable future.
5. I consider my senior year in Hong Kong one of my most memorable and exciting years of my life. So many people had an impact on that; I'm looking forward to seeing everyone who can be at the reunion. It will be great! Those people whom I especially want to see know who they are!
6. I don't know what my funniest memory is!! I do know that I laughed a lot that year!
7. My "Ten Years From Now" was that I would be "The Next Dear Abby." Whomever wrote that in there (I never found out) was very perceptive because even though I'm not a newspaper columnist, I'm studying to ultimately be a counselor and have been doing quite a bit of it. So, yes, it is coming true in a different kind of way!
8. I hope I never grow up completely!! But, for practical purposes, I am and am in the process of living in my dreams which is being in service to others in whatever way that shows itself to be. I want to ultimately be a minister or psychologist and my next steps in school will surely guide me on that road.
9. I literally cannot remember the names of any teachers; maybe it's because I was only there for a year. I do remember my least favorite teacher (no name) and the reason that I do is because she taught Intro. to Psychology. Oh well, it didn't harm me too much I guess!
10. I've moved quite a bit throughout the country. If I try to count I think it's 25 cities. However, my home is in Minnesota and this is where I've done most of my moving. I'm sure I'll be here for awhile!
