"BEST" Banana Bread Ever!

1 Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix

1/2 small box vanilla pudding

2 Bananas-mashed (for more Banana flavor add 3)

3/4 Cups Water

3 Eggs

1/3 Cup oil

1/2-1 Cup Pecans-chopped Mix above ingredients well and put into a large loag pan that has been sprayed with "Pam". Cook at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes. Can do the toothpick test but may be to moist to tell by that.....I usually looked to see if it has risen in the center and light brown in color. This is absolutley the easiest and best Banana Bread I have ever made. Hint-It freezes GREAT. Just wrap it, put in the freezer. When company comes set it out to thaw. Its that easy! Enjoy. This is one of my finds.

24 Hour Salad

1-medium head of iceberg lettuce

1-Cup thinkly sliced onions

1-Cup thinkly sliced celery

1-81/2 oz. can Waterchestnuts

1-10 oz. pkg. frozen peas (thawed)

Layer the above ingredients in a large bowl. A glass bowl makes a pretty show if taking to a dinner. Then mix up the following dressing for the top.

***Dressing***

1-Cups Mayonaise

1-tsp. sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. pepper

Mix together and spread over the layered salad above. Sprinkle parmasian cheese over the top of the dressing. Then layer 1 cup of shredded Mozzerella cheese. Cover tightly and chill for 24 Hours. Garnish with thinly sliced tomatoes and bacon bits if desired. Great for family reunions and picnics! My brother requests this salad at EVERY family get together and my mom always makes it. Thanks Mom, from all of us. It's a wonderful make ahead item! This is a family favorite from my Mom!

Cream Cheese Spread

2-8oz. pkgs. cream cheese

1/2 Cup Miricale Whip Mayonaise

1/3 Cup Parmesan Cheese

10 slices crispy cooked bacon-crumbled

1/4 Cup green onions-thinly sliced and chopped. I like to use a little part of the green also, to add color.

Combine cream cheese (soften first) and mayonaise. Mix until blended. Add remaining ingredients mix well. Put in covered bowl, or on a cheese dish and shape into a mound (for Chirstmas you can shape it into a wreath, heres how: chooose a serving dish such as a domed cheese plate. In the center of the dish put a small glass, spoon the above mixture around the glass making a circle (wreath) remove glass, when finished smooth out the cream chese mixture to form a wreat affect and you may make a bow from the green stems of the onions (soak in warm water first so they become soft and easy to work with) or sprinkle with parsley and chopped pimentoes (to look like berries and place on the wreath). We like to use Wheat Thins for spreading. Delicious! This one is my find.
