This
is Daddy and Parker, taking it easy, enjoying a day up in Ashtabula, OH.
These two, plus Tamara and a group of friends, spent a weekend at the Root's
cabin. We had a wonderful time there, although Parker decided he
didn't want to sleep Saturday night. Since John really doesn't want
to relive that moment, he has declined the chance to write about it here.
NEXT SUBJECT......
This
is Ken and Nancy Marquette. It is Nancy's family who owns the cabin
in Ashtabula. Are they too cute?!?
Here
are four of that group of friends we have. Kirkus Worcesterus is
on the left. We have link to his awesome Webpage. Nancy is
next (you know who she is from above). Jeff and Linda Luce are on
the far right. They have a young daughter who didn't come to the
cabin (but if she did, she may have awakened Saturday Night also, because
of Parker's crying, and then we would have had two unhappy kids in the
middle of the night, and then John may have had to drive both of them back
and forth on Route 45 to put them asleep, and then.... Wait, I said
I wasn't going to write about this, so I digress.). By the way, note
the beautiful yellow tablecloth in the foreground!
And,
here we have Parker and Hannah, playing happily. The stuffed creature
is Blue Bear, Parker's little friend who used to help him drink his bottle.
Since he was too weak to hold his own bottle, we would place Parker in
his chair, strap him in, put Blue Bear on his tummy, and place the bottle
on top of Blue Bear. Now, Parker is stronger and can feed himself.
Blue Bear is now relegated to the "rope" for Baby Tug-o-war, as you can
see here.
