If the King of Wands appears as future is the card a person or an event? King of Wands keeps appearing so i take this that something "big" is going to happen. If it is a person what do they look like / do? As my books say the person is blonde others say they have dark hair. I'm completely confused! I'm single so thought it meant tall dark and handsome is coming my way!

The physical traits assigned to the "people" of the suit cards vary somewhat by author of deck, but the symbolism and meanings vary only in their focus among most of the decks I have studied. Wands as a suit deal with physical matters and powerful people, so it is very likely that your king has more than one appearance in this world. I recommend looking for personality characteristics in the King of Wands rather than physical attributes.
