Question -
We have worked together before. This time, I did a love spread reading. I have a boyfriend who was born on 1/5/69 and I was born on 12/17/70. Things appear to be OK but lately as I do readings I'm getting cards that are portending changes and it kind of troubles me a little because I'm not quite sure if I'm being objective enough to read them properly and this is where you come in... :-)
I asked the cards what can I and him expect romantically in our love relationship in the near future.
I did a Celtic reading and got these cards:
1) Wheel of Fortune
2) 4 of Swords
3) Page of Wands
4) King of Pentacles
5) Knight of Pentacles
6) The Hermit
7) The Magician
8) 8 of Pentacles
9) 9 of Wands
10) 2 of Pentacles
I know some of the cards here portend change like the Wheel and the 2 of Pentacles but I'm wondering what kind of changes? Harmonious changes? Is our relationship bound for breakup hence the hermit?

I laid out the cards from your reading in the standard celtic spread and used my most "terse and forthright" deck with which to interpret them. On the general evaluation, the cards you seem most concerned with are circles, which generally imply balance, flow and meaning or "the way things are supposed to be". There are 5 pentacles in the reading, pentacles generally represent managed fortune or abundance. There are 4 cards specifically indicating masculinity or male-oriented facets, this time they seem to be in progressive stages of evolution. If we include the Page in that count, it becomes 5. This might indicate that there is a lot of (inordinate?) concern over the male of the reading and possibly his maturity or his life path. All of this is consistent with the information in your description.
The preponderance of court cards and major arcana cards indicate to me a sense of importance but not necessarily an urgency. The pentacles in your readings speak to me of that managed abundance we saw in your last reading as well. The manner in which it is presented refers to a well-lived life. Wands typically represent a more physical or challenging set of trials or opposition. Since they and the pentacles are the only representation of suits in this reading, a healthy dose of physical trials seem to be indicated bang alongside the handling of your accomplishments.
The quickest answer I have for you - that is, my answer without a lot of thought or interpretation thrown in - is that the changes might be seen as harmonious. Your Hermit in this reading is standing alone because s/he CAN, not because s/he must. The same is true with your Magician which, in the standard celtic spread my cards have, reflects you. So we have two representations of complete individuals, whether that is two different individuals, or as I think is more likely, the individuals of you and your love. Your changes seem to be a path of evolution, both progressive and significant.
Strangely, I have found that my deck interprets the 9 of wands (in the position of "What are the fears?" in the spread) as "Bad news", and the 2 of pentacles (in the position of "What is the outcome or culmination?") as "Troubles are imaginary." It seems to me that the cards which form the foundation of this reading are strong and potent "people" cards, indicating most likely that you and your love are both powerfully conducting yourselves into your futures. It seems to me that this reading is almost screaming that you will both be well and satisfied, whatever your decisions are. And, more importantly, that you will both be capable of making your own decisions and handling the outcomes of them, if you are not already capable of such.
The material I have put on the internet is at the site
www.geocities.com/fullcircltribe/Tarot/tarotspreads.html . Please forgive the basic form of presentation; these are sloppy little gifs from my electronic Tarot grimoire, so they are designed mostly for me to see. I did not have the time to re-do them, so I hope that they are sufficient for your use.For objectivity in reading, I have found it the most useful to simply do reading after reading after reading until the cards begin to speak frank, short sentences to you. This helps to develop a "second self" who narrates your readings to you almost as instantly as the cards are laid. Since cumbersome readings are typically draining and distractingly absorbing, I am listing some simple 3-card, 1-throw "games" that I have come across. I believe that the games on this page are straightforward enough that you will be able to enjoy them immediately, but if you have questions, please write again. Please write again also if you find these games are not sufficient; they are merely the most handy thing I can offer you at this time.
In determining where a relationship is likely to go, I have found is most useful to carefully examine the present. Many times "now" cards will expose the most likely futures, in the nature of explaining the participants' characteristics and tendencies. I, personally, have gotten away from reading "futures" for the reason that many querents don't actually want to know the future, but rather the possibilities from which they have to choose. The Beloved Spread is a factual reading of "Now" for two individuals in a romantic relationship. I advise that you try this layout first with a "junk" reading to determine which side of the heart shape is likely to represent you and which is likely to represent your love. Of course, the sides may change from reading to reading, but a "junk" reading will gain you exposure to the particular dialog that this reading offers if not insight into how to determine which side is who.
I apologize that facets of this response are not well written and that I have not been as detailed as, perhaps, I should have this time in answering your questions. I believe that this answer builds upon the last and reviewing them both may fill in any gaps for you which I have either intentionally or accidentally left here.
