Question –

What cards mean yes and which mean no? Which cards indicate use for sex only? Finally, which cards in what position indicate a successful long term relationship?

Answer -

In general, the deck cards will be divided along a pole [yes/no] based on the question itself. This quickly becomes a very complicated matter if you really do wish to know the delineation of every card from the deck for any given reading. Otherwise, * your * general interpretation of the cards will stand for the delineation of "yes" versus "no", intermediate Readers will most likely have already gone through every card and will know which is which by their own interpretation and prior working, many will have a Tarot Grimoire to which to refer if a question should arise.

For yes/no readings, where all you want is a yes or no answer, i recommend a 3-card spread i call Quandary. This reading uses your personal impression of the cards [whether they are positive or negative] to give an answer yes or no. It can be dangerous to use if you are truly looking at black and white situations, and ESPECIALLY if you are reading for yourself. Anyhow, i've posted it for us at

http://geocities.datacellar.net/fullcircltribe/Tarot/tarotspreads.html , it is listed as "Quandary Throw".

Since the web site is shared space, and because of my ongoing connectivity issues, i've had to put all the gifs which i have been using in that one spot. I hope that this does not confuse you. If you are the same Reader I have been working with occasionally, then you may notice that the other "gifs" have been moved here from their previous location.

I'm not sure i understand your second question, but i will try to give you a general answer. There are many cards in the Rider-Waite deck which indicate aspects of sex and sexuality. I think your question is asking which cards you could find in a reading that would strictly indicate sex, and nothing more or nothing else. Sex itself is a tremendous topic, there are many factors involved in sex, things that go along with, enhance, or even are completely separate from the physical act but which relate to it. That is why sexuality can be read among various cards; each card represents an archetype/ideal, an aspect, a trait, or a situation. Sex is everywhere in our lives, even where we neither expect nor want it to be. Confining any specific card or set of cards from a deck for use to describe sex only might be done best ahead of time on an individual basis with a separate deck. That is, if describing "sex only" in readings is something you would wish to commonly accomplish, i recommend purchasing another deck and choosing the cards which strike you as "sex only" cards, then physically marking them, as with a red pen. Then, when you have a question or Querent who wishes to focus on "sex only" you can use that deck without hampering the normal workings of the cards.

The last question is a huge question which would take volumes to answer, and it seems to me as though you have a specific Reading in mind -- it seems as though you want to know if a reading or set of readings you have done indicate a successful long term relationship. I would need more information to answer that without beginning a general tutorial on reading for long term relationships.
