Notes for ANNA KUNCE:
Came to the United States in 1867. Anna had been ill for a while but her obituary said she had an accident in Dec. Her granddaughter remembers her being moved to their house. She thinks that Anna may have fallen down some stairs as she can't remember any "accident". She was cared for first by her daughter Hattie before she was moved to her son, Ludvik's house. She died there after 6 weeks of suffering. Her obituary says that she shook hands with everyone present-Hattie and her husband, Ludvik and his wife Bessie were there. I don't know who the others were. She said she couldn't take any more, thanked everyone present and died. .

Notes for ALOIS KUBERT:
In Family Search Geneology pages with LDS he is shown as Lois-a female born in the same year. The only possibility is that there was a non-surviving female twin?? In the 1880 Census it shows the family in Nebraska with a 2 year old daughter named Lois but no mention of Alois.

Ludvick had a varied career. He had planned to go into the retail business but it didn't work out with his partner. He took his new bride and headed to South Dakota to home stead. His wife Bessie's cousins, Flora and Clara had already homestead there. Ludvick then returned to Nebraska, farmed for a while then worked security at a department store in Lincoln.
