This site, the associated mailing list and other resources to which links are provided below are intended for people interested in the family history of the Sheldrick family, and also in the Sheldrick family name. People interested in other variations including Sheldrake, Sheldrack, Sheldreck, Sheldricks, Shildrick, Shildrake, Shildreck and Shildrack are also very welcome to participate. This also includes the mailing list and message board, details of which you will find below.

I am interested in hearing from Sheldricks anywhere in the world. I am willing to include on this site family tree information for branches of the Sheldrick family worldwide, to help various branches of the family establish links or purely for interest in others with the same name. If you already have a website for Sheldrick, Sheldrake or other related families, I will be happy to provide a link to your site in return for the same favour on your site.

You do not have to have very much information to make a start and have your family information included here - perhaps just a few details about two or three generations, which may include, for example, just you, your parents and grandparents, if that's all you know about at present. With that information on the Family Tree site, it is then possible for others who are related to send in their information and make connections.

This site has already made three very big connections of long-lost family branches, and another one seems to be happening as of March 2000 - maybe yours will be next!

SEND me details of your family members or ancestors for inclusion on this site. Note that I do not publish the birth dates of living people on this site; you may send them for inclusion in the master data base which I maintain off-line, or not send them at all, as you prefer.

SUBSCRIBE to the SHELDRICK mailing list, (no cost for subscribing - this is not a business) to exchange information with other Sheldricks and people researching the name around the world.
