The numbering system is magic! Without it, one could never figure out one's direct decedents unless one undertook an assignment just short of yours! Thank you. I was able to whiz through the book, highlighting all my direct descendants by starting with my father, and working back. Of course, you had already done that for me!

Thanks for your inquiry in re the book.  Yes, it came and I want to take this opportunity to congratulate you and Larry  for the job well done.  I think it represents a ton of work.  Much  more info than I have in the Mssc that I have worked on for so many years on my Littlepage family.  Particularly important to researchers like me is the fact that you have documented with your footnotes those pertinent facts of birth, mar, death.

I told Dorothy last night and I'll tell you this morning. I have hundreds of genealogy books accumulated over the last twenty years but none finer than the one I received yesterday. The content is well researched and well formatted and the book quality is superb
(Morgantown where it is published is just over the next hill).  I am especially happy because I descend from the main line of William Worsham through Mary Marshall and Arthur Moody as well as through one of the detached lines of John Worsham and Rebecca of Amelia Co. What are you two going to do for an encore?

Also, do you know if your book has been designated to go to any libraries? I might like to donate several to some that are appropriate.

I received my copy of this book in yesterday's mail.  It is a wonderful piece of research and effort.  I strongly recommend its purchase to every Worsham researcher.  We owe Dorothy Tuttle & Larry Washam a great debt!

This is a wonderful book and very well documented.  I hate putting it down to cook, wash, etc.!!!!!!

Do you think we will ever get good documentation on ancestors from across the ocean?

I did a thorough job of searching my Worsham Lineage in your book and I want to tell you again what a magnificent, scholarly work it is.  The amount of research required for such a book is a feat in itself!  We Worshams are proud to own such a piece of  family history.  Mark my word, for many years to come, this book will be quoted as the Bible for Worsham information.  ...
