Almond Biscuits

  • 250gms butter
  • 250gms sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 350gms plain flour
  • 2tspn baking powder
  • ¼tspn almond essence
  • blanched almonds

Cream butter, sugar and almond essence together. Add eggs and beat well. Mix in sifted dry ingredients. Roll into balls, place on greased trays and put a blanched almond onto each biscuit. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 180ºc (350ºf).
