Anzac Biscuits

  • 250gms plain flour
  • 300gms sugar
  • 2cups coconut
  • 2cups rolled oats
  • 200gms butter
  • 2tblspns golden syrup
  • 1tsp baking soda
  • 4tblspns boiling water

Preheat oven to 180ºc (350ºf). Mix flour, sugar, coconut and rolled oats together. Melt butter and golden syrup together. Dissolve baking soda in the boiling water and add to butter mixture. Add to dry ingredients and combine well. Place in spoonfuls on greased trays and bake for 15-20 minutes.
