Souvlaki

  • 4 Slices Beef Schnitzel
  • 2tspn Cinnamon
  • 1tspn Salt
  • 1tspn Pepper
  • 2cloves Garlic-finely chopped
  • 1tpsn Sugar
  • 1tblspn Oil
  • 1cup Natural Yoghurt
  • 100grams Sour Cream
  • Pita Bread- 2-3 per person
  • Tomatoes, Lettuce, Cucumber, Spring Onions-Fairly finely chopped

Thinly slice beef and marinate for at least 1 hour in fridge in oil, sugar, cinnamon, salt and pepper. Prepare fresh veges. Cook meat in a wok for 5-7 minutes, or until cooked through**. Heat pita's in the oven on medium temp until warm through. Fill with hot meat and salad, spoon over sauce. And eat immediately. SAUCE: Mix yoghurt, sour cream, and finely chopped garlic and refridgerate until well chilled. ** Add some red and green pepper thinly sliced to the cooking meat as an optional extra.
