Wildefire's agility field is a dream come true for me. My husbands loss on Emu farming left behind a beautiful, 200'x 500' field completly enclosed by 6' chain link fence. I asked what are you going to do with the field? He said nothing,.....and I said....WELL HONEY...I've been thinking!!!!!....(please note that when I say this.....everybody runs)sooooo..The dream of a agility field started to come true that was 1992."WAG"was finaley a working field in winter of 97/98. I must say that my husband Roy (papa bear) loved the idea and proceeded to build the equipment himself. Next step, how do we learn this wonderful new sport? ...Everyone starts looking for a trainer.....Enters Linda Kouski{our teacher and friend}!!! We had a long talk,and showed her what we had. She told us what to build first and off we went.... AGILITY BOUND!!!!

Wildefire's Agility Gang (WAG)

Since the first lesson(we started with 5 jumps) we have worked steadily to get the field in working order. We added all the equipment we could afford over the years. We presently have toy,novice & open see-saw's and dog walk's. 1 A-frame, 2 tunnels, a closed chute, double and triple jumps, weave poles, And 15 regular jumps.

Our first Champion in Agility is Wildefires Jon Henery NAJ,OAJ,he has been worked 7 times. My husband Roy (the girls call him papabear) is also working a little border collie named "dude" which he will probably start competing in the fall of 2001. I have started training Jons pups... Saint and Angel.

Our girls are training their dogs. Ashley age 12,has Bubba a unregistered black cocker, Meagen age 11,has a Standard Poodle female (mother to Saint and Angel), and Rhonda age 8,is still waiting for her love. We sure will be a sight when we start unloading at the shows!!!!! But like I always say "Agility is a Mother approved sport and for the whole FAMILY"...
