German Wirehaired Pointers

I met my first wire in Germany, she was a large dog and had just come in from killing a boar, she was gentle and loving to the kids. I would have taken a puppy right then and there but we were in process of shipping back to good ole US and there was no time for the formalities(in those days it was much harder to get a dog exported to the U.S.)Time went by, and being busy with other things(raising the boys, and military life), I eventually forgot about her.

Years later a girl came to work for me that had a wirehair. Before I knew it I had Billy Ray...CH. Ripsnoters Ka-Lins Wild Hart. Todd Clyde handled him to his Championship for me. Next thing on the agenda was to find a really nice female. With wanting to add substance(bone) and a higher prey drive than what I already had......I decided to import a female from Germany.

This is where Tina(Tina V. Watchtersbach) comes into our life. Tina is a Deutsch Drathaar and one of my close companion dogs. Tinas first litter produced 11 very nice puppies...We finnished 5, with one being #1 GWP for year 2000.And 2 more are pointed. From that Ch.Wildefire's Mercedes was bred and we have finished 2 of her litter Ch.Wildefire's Duece of Banrion(male),and CH.Wildefire's BMW(female).
