MEET RAMA

Becky was so thrilled with me, that when my mother had another litter of kittens, she decided she wanted another siamese cat. I must say I wasn't too thrilled with this new brother, but I accepted him after a few days. His name is Rama Khan.

This is Rama as a kitten. Rama is a classic seal point siamese. He has slightly larger ears and a slightly wedged head. He's cross eyed. I must tell you that I put up with an awful lot during those first few weeks. My tail and ears took a terrible beating. He was sure I was here just to amuse him.

When Rama started to grow up, I realized it might not be too bad to have another cat in the house. He is a strange one though. He has this tendency to be a thief. I know why the mask was put on this guy's face!! I usually just sit and watch him make a fool of himself by chasing strings, bread bag ties, pipe cleaners or anything else that isn't attached to an anchor. He had this hangup with socks for a long time. None of the humans in the house could ever find their socks, and I have no idea what he did with them either..No-one has ever found most of them.

Rama is now 6 years old and I've taught him everything he knows. This is Rama on the left and of course me on the right, sitting on the stereo by the front door. We sometimes enjoy acting like sentries. We scare everyone that comes to visit.

Rama has a very gentle disposition. He enjoys being held as much as I do...and every now and then, we climb onto Becky's lap together. He and I enjoy being snuggled up together on a chair. We are almost identical and if it weren't for his crossed eyes, even Becky would have a hard time telling us apart.

Yep, everything was just fine until Becky's son, Frank, decided he was only going to breed our mother one more time. He wasn't going to breed Siamese cats anymore and told Becky that she could have pick of the last litter. Good grief!! This is when our lives became chaotic!! The little tornado's name is Khanna.
