Hi! My name is Joan Cumming. I 'm 58 years young Trained Nurse by profession, married (for 37 years) - have a wonderful husband, Mal.
I have four adult children.
Eldest son, Andrew. Sadly his wife Rose died of cancer, on 21st April this year, 1997, eights short months after the birth of their first child, a daughter Andrea Rose, was born... He is a computer programmer
Younger son, Stuart , Headmaster of a remote school in the far North west of the state, where he lives with his wife Jennifer and 4 sons, Kristoffer, Jakeb, Morgan and Joshuah. They live at Fitzroy Crossing in the Kimberly region in the North West of Western Australia.
Eldest daughter, Fiona who lives with her husband Anthony in Perth. She is an Outdoor Education school teacher.
Younger daughter, Heather married to Dale. Both of them are also school teachers. .She and Dale now live in the Perth., not far from Fiona.
1997 was a very sad time for us, as our daughter in law - Rose, Andrew’s loved wife of only 2 years and 8 months, lost her battle with cancer. She was a very gifted and loving girl and we all miss her so very much.
At present my husband Mal and myself are helping with the care of our grand-daughter Andrea during the week. She is just over 16 months of age now. She is a very special little person, and gives us endless pleasure. She has a delightful nature and is developing a wonderfully loving and comic personality.
