I really enjoyed looking at all the things you wonderful ladies have made.... hours of work.. I would be interested in some of your patterns, I have several olaf books, Lesley Rasmus taught me to bead she has submitted several patterns- a very clever lady.......do you use the olaf beads only? I have not been able to find any up here in Darwin my husband is in the forces and we move around quite a bit. I find that they are the best quality... let me know what you think.......

Hello! The reason I am writing is because I just attended a Renaissance Festival in Steroing, New York. While I was there I purchased a drop spindle and some wool. I'd seen someone doing it once and I have always wanted to learn. I know how to knit an crochet and thought I would make something. However, I do not know how to use the drop spindle and was look for some instruction over the internet. I keep coming up with catalogues and retailers. I;m just looking for simple instructions and a few pict res to get me started. I don't want to purchase a book. I learn better by doing. Do you know of anyone who may have simple instructions on their web site, or do you have some instructions? I would greatly appreciate any advice as I can't seem to get a ywhere on the internet.
