MARCH
March was no less eventful for Alex as you'll see below.

March was the month that Alex got his first immunisations - 2 jags in each leg and then one by mouth - this vaccination scheme covers - Polio, Diptheria,Tetanus, Whooping Cough, Hepatitis C and HIB.

Needless to say after this Alex had a very disturbed night - he was up every 2 hours - not surprisingly.

Alex had his first "big Bath" on 7th March - and he enjoyed this very much - he loves water and kicking to make big splashes.

On 13th March, Alex had his first big trip outside Edinburgh, up to Perth for the Day to attend Auntie Lyndsey's Star of Merit Presentation.

On 17th March we started Baby Massage classes - and both Alex and Mummy enjoy this very much.

The antenatal class met up on 20th March in the Museum of Scotland in Chambers Street and were as much a talking point as the exhibits with so many Mums and Babies there.

On 28th March Alex went into the tiny Sunday School for the first time - the Sparklers - he enjoyed watching the little boys and girls colour in pictures of Jonah and the Whale.

In general Alex has started to hold his head up a bit on his own and makes a couple of lovely little noises - A-woo and Awhh being two of Mummy and Daddy's favourites.
