Welcome to "Maggie's lil bit of Heaven". This is the page where I give you a brief glimpse of me...

I'm Maggie, also known as Margaret Ann. I was born and raised in the Tidewater area of Virginia (Southern by birth, Virginian by the grace of God), and am the youngest of three, two boys and myself. I very recently resided in Huntsville, Alabama, the "rocket city". Huntsville is a beautiful mid sized city nestled in the foothills of the great Smoky Mountains. It also abounds with red-necks and rocket scientists..often one in the same. But since I remarried in July of 2000, I now find myself in Littleton, Colorado, a suburb of Denver. I've traded in humidity and foothills for dryer air and larger mountains.

I am the proud mother, well most days anyway, of two teenagers. Kat is 21 and just beginning her junior year at The Evergreen College, a liberal arts state college in Olympia, Washington. Paul is 19 and beginning his sophmore year at the University of Colorado at Denver. I was married to their army officer father for 16 years. During that time we lived as far north as Davenport, Iowa and as far south as the Republic of Panama. Five years ago I returned to work after a 17 year stint as full time mom and I'm now happily employed at a Colorado state agency.

I've been a breast cancer survivor for ten years (7/7/03) and have only recently been diagnosed with lymphodemia (www.lymphnet.org) Pat and I were married on July 13, 2000 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, a monumental year for a monumental event. Undoubtedly the wedding of the century. The pictures are now available in our wedding album. Pat is a commercial photographer dealing primarily in astronautics.
