This is copied from Izard County Historian, Vol 16, January 1985, No. 1 (Page 41) Below is given a list of those who received Confederate pensions in Izard County during the year of 1912. There were 158 pensioners in the county and they received $11,03,5, which ranged from $36.00 to $72.00 per person.
