Gen. 18:19 KJV – I know him (Abr), that he will command his children
and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD,
to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that
which he hath spoken of him.
Gen. 18:19 ESV – (17) Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do,
... 19 For I have chosen [Hebr. 'known']him, that he may command his
children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by
doing righteousness and justice, so that the LORD may bring to Abraham
what he has promised him.

Dt. 4:9 Only take care, and keep your [Israel] soul diligently, lest
you forget the things that your eyes have seen, and lest they depart
from your heart all the days of your life. Make them known to your
children and your children's children – 10 how on the day that you

multiplied in the land that the LORD swore to your fathers to give them.
Psa 22:30,31 – Posterity shall serve him [God]; it shall be told of the
Lord to the coming generation; 31 they shall come and proclaim his
righteousness to a people yet unborn, that he has done it.
Psa. 78:5-7 – He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law
in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, 6
that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and
arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their
hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments.
Psa. 102:18 – Let this be recorded for a generation to come, so that a
people yet to be created may praise the LORD.
Isa. 59:21f – “As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the
LORD. “My Spirit, who is upon you, and my words that I have put in your
mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your
offspring, or out of the mouth of your children's offspring,” says the
LORD, “from this time forth and forevermore.”

wisdom of the righteous – to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
Mal.4:6 [Elijah, sent by God] will turn the hearts of the fathers to
