Sending e-mail with NetZero (ISP) and Outlook Express (Mail program)

1. start NetZero; click on "connect" when that button comes up
2. start Outlook Express; (click the icon by the Start button)
3. when you are connected (icon (M&D: two computers; JA:modem) on right end of task bar is visible), hit send and receive in Outlook Express
4. exit NetZero: single click the right (pop up menu) button on the mouse once, which brings up the NetZero pop up menu; click on "Exit"

Browsing the Web with NetZero (ISP) and Internet Explorer (browser)

1. start NetZero; click on "connect" when that button comes up
2. NetZero automatically launches the browser (Internet Explorer)
3. when you are connected (icon (M&D: two computers; JA:modem) on right end of task bar is visible), go to your desired website by any of the following:
   • type in the web address in the address line
   • from you "Favorites" or "Bookmarks" - click on the folder icon with the star/asterisk in it on the toolbar of internet explorer to display/not display your Favorites on the left hand side
4. exit NetZero: single click the right (pop up menu) button on the mouse once, which brings up the NetZero pop up menu; click on "Exit"
