HI THERE I'M BRONCO!
Now that the family has gone out I finally get a go at the computer! Its a bit hard with my big paws. Wouldn't you think a human would think about making bigger keys for us canine type people? Well it just goes to show they aren't as smart as they think they are.
As you may or may not know, I am a Border Collie. Oh I see you're impressed! Yes, Yes, it is quite a lot to live up to, particularly when the humans keep saying Border Collies are the smartest canines in the world. But of course there are always those who simply cannot accept that they don't have the superior intelligence that we do. German Shepherds of course will never admit that they are not number 1 in the brains department. Oh yes I know the Police use them and they are very intelligent, BUT..... Not as intelligent as ME!
I'm 4.5 human years old and I think my humans are quite happy with the home I've got for them here. It's hard work you know, looking after them all. The two big ones are well trained to serve me my dinner at the appointed hour. Sometimes they still forget but a soft whine from me will usually get them springing into action. Of course I often sulk if they forget about my dinner and I don't let up until they apologise profusely!
Now, the little ones are a bit of a trial. I seem to have succeeded in training them to play with me but they don't seem to understand that there are times when it is not appropriate to play. Like when I want to sleep! They are very enthusiastic though and it's very hard to resist them. They love it when I take them for walks, but I make them hold onto my lead very tightly so they don't go running off into the street or get lost. They also like me taking them to the park to ride their bikes, but I make sure I run alongside them in case they fall off and get hurt.
Ah yes, such is the life of a canine. I must say though, as much trouble as my humans are, I do really love them and they are most pleasing to have around. I do hope you have a good canine to look after you too. Well I better go because my humans will be home soon and they do kick up a fuss when I start playing with their toys. You know how humans are...
