Stock Horse Bred Mare

Foaled 1996

Sire: - Chan's Last By Chan out of Sally
Chan's Last was a big bold bay horse who sired a lot of very successful showjumpers as well as excellent farm horses. Underutilised while he lived, he covered many mares but, to my knowledge, there are few actually registered A.S.H. His offspring can be quite hot but strong and gutsy.

Dam: - Station Mare

Hope is the last foal of Chan's Last. She started life as a show jumper - gaining 4 points in her first season of competition.
Hope foaled a lovely bay colt foal "Banjywon Legolas" by Quabin Sariq on January 24th, 2003. Disaster struck early as "Legs" somehow ended up caught in a fence at only a couple of hours old - thus again proving if there is a way a horse can hurt it self it will! Anyway - after several weeks of bandaging all was well. Apart from some scarring Legs is up and running, literally! And is everything I could hope for. He will be around 15 hands and with plenty of bone should be an excellent weight carrier.
Hope has been sold to my friend who already has 2 of my horses and has been rejoined to Sariq. Unfortunately she has a back injury that does not allow her to be ridden - very disappointing.
