2. Things You Need to Know |
4. About the Current Game |
Before you begin it is important to read the information contained in these four links. They explain how the game works. Reading them will avoid confusion during play. (Don't worry, they're short!)
By participating in the activities on this web page you agree to play fairly and keep all solved clues confidential, and not to cheat in any way. If you get stuck on a clue, you may ask for help HERE.Back to Top
Back to TopTHINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
I have chosen at this point not to use Java and JavaScripts on the game pages. I feel at this time it is best to do without it as there are still many browsers which are not capable of reading them. Perhaps I will add it later on, but for now there will be none. However, the pages of this game are heavily reliant on graphics.
You may want to bring along a pen or pencil and some paper or a text editor to help work out clues. You may not be able to complete the Fun Find all in one sitting, so be sure to bookmark the page of the last clue you solved. Also remember to bookmark the sites you like best.
All of the sites containing a clue have been checked for appropriate content, however, we are not responsible for links to other pages. We try to be very careful of the content of the pages where clues are placed, so that children are able to participate in the Hunt. Please notify me of any inappropriate content you may find.
Many of the pages containing clues have a guestbook. Please take the time to stop by and note that you were there for the Fun Internet Find. Web authors are always interested to know what brings people to their sites; many have built a webpage in order to make new friends.
Should help be required with any clue, please send e-mail to the Fun Internet Find or post your question in the guestbook. Please do not go to the author of the page the clue is found on (Clue Host) for help or information concerning the game.
PURPOSEBack to Top
This game has been created for two purposes. The main reason I created this is just to give people something fun to do. It's an added benefit to be able to attract more people to the Clue Host's pages.

HOSTING AND CONTENT
I am always looking for Clue Host's to participate in future games. There are ABSOLUTELY no requirements to host a page; no fee, no catch. It's for FUN! The only thing is your page must have acceptable content. I reserve the right to decline a page due to unacceptable content. Acceptable content is at my sole discretion. If you would like your web page considered to host a clue please go here.

THANKS!!
I want to thank especially MCW, Chartuese, Granny-Wicked, Kayroller, Who and Star* for all the help finding graphics, for giving me ideas for clues and for all the encouragement during the development of this game.

GAME INFO
Remember to bookmark this section so you can check back periodically. Should there be any information necessary to share with you about the game in general or the current game, it will be posted here.
- Some clues refer the participant to the source of a page. The source of the page is the written HTML code which causes the page to look the way it does. To view the source, Click 'VIEW' on your browser, then click 'SOURCE' or 'PAGE SOURCE'.
- The Fun Internet Find linking graphic is found on some clue host web pages. This is for the purpose of linking to the home page and should not be confused or taken as part of the game unless a clue specifically points to it. Clues are linked from an identical graphic on all Clue Host web pages.
It is important to read these short sections before playing the game: The Rule, Things You Need to Know, About the Current Game and About the Game. (Take special note of the 'Game Info' section here. Any updates and/or information regarding the current game will be posted there.)
Clue Host pages are noted as such on the homepage and clues are numbered so that you don't become lost in the links and miss out on part of the game. Each Clue Host has placed a symbol on one of their pages which is linked from their homepage. The symbol is consistent on each Clue Host page. You may have to search to find it. When you do, it will take you to the clue. After reading the clue, click the <--- BACK link and you will be taken back to the Host's homepage to begin looking for the answer to the clue. The answer will direct you to the next Clue Host's webpage.
A Who's Playing page is planned to feature the players. It will include the date they start and end the current game as well as a link to their homepage if they are willing to have it listed.
Please be sure to sign the Guest Book before you start and when you finish. Constructive comments and suggestions are welcome.
