At this site you will find information about our family and its different branches (Lommatzsch, Mollier, Braisaz Sesquet, von Born).
I got the idea for the creation of the this page during my father in laws sixtieth birthday. My father in law, his twin brother and a cousin had decided to invite all of the descendents of David Auguste Braisaz Sesquet and Anne, EMILIE Pichol Thievend that would be interested to this celebration. For this occasion my father in law had done some work on the family tree and had drawn up the family tree to show to all of their near and distant cousins.
On the other hand the children of the three birthday kids had decided to do something special to celebrate this event and we all put together a small journal that talked about the three personalities and offered some games with a central theme on the family. To give a more modern touch to the journal we had put a fictive http address on it and when people read it they would ask us if it really existed and could they go and visit it.
So this is where I got the idea of making a site about my extended family and to do this I took all of the work that was done by my father in law on his family tree and the work that my grand father had done on my mothers side (Earliest ancestor born year 1500) to created a site that would talk about the family genealogy and so my family could look at it and explore their roots and it would also be an occasion to allow people to see and maybe help me complete this family tree. So if you by chance come across this page and you know of somebody that is from an unknown branch of the tree I would love them to contact me and give me the information so that I can complete it.

I have also added here the journal that we created for the sixtieth
anniversary of my father in law(all in French after all these years I have not translated it).
