BUTTIE BUDDIES GOATS GO TO KINDERGARTEN

For the last three years, several Buttie Buddies goats have visited the kindergarten classes at Hirsch Elementary School, which is in nearby suburban Spring School District. In the spring, the children study farms, and since many of them have never seen a farm animal up close, my co-worker's wife, one of the teachers, asked if some of our goats could come to visit.

The children are fascinated and SO enthusiastic. There are 3 classes of about 20 children in each class. They all want to pet the goats, and they have hundreds of questions like: "What do they eat?" "Do they butt each other?" "How do the mother goats make milk?" (We brought a nursing doe and babies)

The goats seemed to enjoy all the attention. The children always write thank-you notes complete with beautiful, and often VERY INTERESTING, pictures of goats.
