Something To Think About
Sometimes we get so caught up in our daily lives, that we may not always remember to consider the true meaning and purpose of life, and to learn more of ourselves and the reasons for our existence. That's what this page is all about. Each month, something new will be placed here that is intended to give you "something to think about." It may be a poem, prayer, verse, annedote etc. that may be humurous, inspirational or just plain thought provoking.
This month, let's explore what it might be like if God had voice mail.
WHAT IF GOD HAD VOICE MAIL?
We all have learned to live with voice Mail as a necessary part of modern life. But you may have wondered, what if God decided to install voice mail?
Imagine praying and hearing this...
"THANK YOU FOR CALLING MY FATHER'S HOUSE, PLEASE SELECT ONE OF THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS-
PRESS FOR REQUESTS,
PRESS FOR THANKSGIVING,
PRESS COMPLAINTS,
PRESS FOR ALL OTHER INQUIRIES"
What if God used the familiar excuse,
"I'M SORRY, ALL THE ANGELS ARE BUSY HELPING OTHER CUSTOMERS RIGHT NOW. PLEASE STAY ON THE LINE. YOUR CALL IS IMPORTANT TO US - IT WILL BE ANSWERED IN THE ORDER RECEIVED."
Can you imagine getting these kinds of responses as you call on God in prayer?
"IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK TO

FOR A DIRECTORY OF OTHER ANGELS, PRESS .
IF YOU LIKE TO HEAR KING DAVID SING A PSALM WHILE YOU ARE ON HOLD, PLEASE PRESS .
TO FIND OUT IF A LOVED ONE HAS BEEN ASSIGNED TO HEAVEN, ENTER HIS OR HER SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, PRESS THEN .
