Thanksgiving
Traditions
For most people, just the mention of Thanksgiving conjures up memories of roasted turkey, sage dressing, pumpkin pie, holiday parades and football games. As you reminisce of the years gone bye, you can almost smell the aroma of the holiday feast lingering in the air, and hear the sounds of the marching bands in the Macy's Parade. These kinds of memories are forever etched in our hearts and minds, placed there tenderly by the traditions that helped create them.

Family traditions are an important part of Thanksgiving celebration Wonderful recipes for all the fixing such as turkey stuffing, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie and other special desserts are passed down from generation to generation. Parents share time with their children watching the magnificent floats in the holiday parade. The Family gathers around the television to root for their favorite football team. Through the years, these traditions, and so many more, have been a part of our holiday celebrations, as we have grown. And, with families of our own, we will continue them with our children, and they with theirs.

What are some of the unique ways that your family celebrate Thanksgiving? How long have those traditions been a part of your celebrations? We'd love to share in how you make your holiday special! Just send us an email, telling us about your traditions, and we'll post them right here on this page. And, before you go, don't forget to read about the traditions that our other visitors have and enjoy.
