My Summer Vacation My Summer Vacation was a mixture of work, play, and making new friends from all over the country. The friday before Memorial Day my boss came and asked if I would be willing to go to Washington, D.C. to train new School Bus Drivers for three weeks. So I and and couple other co-workers scrambled to make plans for our families for the three weeks we would be gone. I sent my 14 year old to Florida to stay with Mom. A few days later we were on the road for D.C. The driver of this Van, (who usually drives an Amtran RE) was worried about having enough room to park in a regular space as we stopped to eat on our trip. When we arrived at the Hotel, these are some of the wonderful Staff Members that we would spend our summer getting to know. (click that pic to see more staff) This is David After getting settled in, we got to meet some of the most wonderful Supervisors you could ever ask to work with. This is Jane, Mike and Nancy ...and you got it!!! click to see more! After our first three weeks were up, we were approached by this nice young man ;)~ and asked to stay longer. I guess he suddenly realized he needed us! home
