The message on this page is directed at all who are required to grow up in Christ. This is not a message of fire and damnation, unless the Holy Ghost convicts you that your disobedience and rebellion has come up before the Lord. Please understand, there are stages of growth in our walk to the Cross, just as in our carnal walk. All in Yahweh's household aren't of the same age, and all will not be judged and disciplined with the same severity. A newborn, doesn't get the rod of correction, whereas an adolecent will.
Yahweh is not a Father that thumps us on the head if we step out of line. He is a Father that loves His children and only wants the best for them. I want to make this clear. There are very few rules as far as a walk with Jesus. Only two in fact ~ Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind. And love your brother or sister as yourself. These two will take care of all the others that we are commanded to obey. My title ~ Obedience or Perdition might seem a little harsh. But God's Word is clear when it comes to listening to and following His commands. Spiritual death, or separation from Yahweh is in store for a disobedient and rebellious child. His commands are not hard to obey. Now remember this---I am talking about one of His---not a child of the world. 1 John 5: 1 - 4 (amp) says ~ Everyone who believes (adheres to, trusts, and relies on the fact) that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah) is a born again child of God; and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of Him (His offspring). (2) By this we come to know (recognize and understand) that we love the children of God and obey His commands (orders, charges) ~ [when we keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and His teachings]. (3) For the (true) love of God is this: that we do His commands (keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and His teachings). And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppresive or grievious). (4) For whatever is born of God is victorous over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.
The words above in Matthew are like so many more that our Lord spoke that aren’t taken and obeyed in their entirety, to the letter. It is sad but most in the church seem to just glean what they want to believe or what’s comfortable to believe. I truly do understand how this happens, as it’s not totally the sheep’s fault. Most of the blame has to lay with the Pastors and teachers. These men and women have been conned by darkness over many years to carefully pick and choose all the doctrine that would not offend or tend to separate the sheep from their worldly pleasures, thereby corrupting the whole message. In my experience, when someone in the pulpit starts talking about laying all else aside to follow in Yashua's footsteps, the pews get rather cold. I mean in this day and age, who would want to go sit in a church and hear a pastor deliver the Sermon on the Mount, or you must take up your cross and follow Him or the curse of all curses, sell all you have and follow Me. But this is still no excuse. We all have Yahwey's Word to study ourselves approved. No where in His Word does He say we are to solely rely on someone else to teach us. All of the Apostles instructions to all of us is each of us is to go to the Source of Truth.
Remember the rich young ruler in Lk. 18: 24 This young man passed up the greatest gift known to mankind, to follow in Jesus's footsteps and probably be the one of the 12 to take Judas's place. Notice what our Lord says in verse 24, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the Kingdom of God. This isn't a reference to someone like Bill Gates, this is anyone that relies on the worldly system of operating as this young man did. They that were there, asked the question that we would ask today in verse 26. And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved? We would most definitely ask the same question. But Lord, How will I pay my house note? How will I buy my necessities of life and provide for my family? Jesus gives us the answer in verses 29 & 30. And He said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that has left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the Kingdom of God's sake, (30) Who will not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting. I refer to this as The Abrahamic Principle.
Paul's letter to Timothy in 1 Tim. 6: 9 (amp) says ~ But those who crave to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish (useless, godless) and hurtful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction and miserable perishing. The King James original word for miserable perishing is perdition The Greek translation for perdition is ~ apoleia, which is a derivative of the word appollumi in which the two come from the root word apo.
apoleia ~ perdition, destruction, waste, damnable, to die, perish, pernicious
appollumi ~ perish, destroy, lose, be lost, lost,
1) to destroy
apo ~ out of, for, off
1) of separation
This laying down of all else and putting complete trust in Yahweh is what I refer to as The Abrahamic Principle. Lay Isaac down on the altar as Yahweh directs,in obedience and let Him give him back to you. I would be confident in saying this principle hasn't been exercised yet in today's church. We are taught by the interpreters and expounders of the Bible today that the correct way of operating in Yahweh's Kingdom is to hoard and hold on to material possesions, and like robots give of this materiality to the church. And whatever we don't have, yet desire, beg and plead incessently to God for it. We're incorrectly taught that God commands us to give to pastor so he can dole it out to the poor or wherever else he sees fit. This is not backed up by Scripture. If a pastor or teacher EVER has to give a tithe or an offering sermon, he or she needs to head back to the throne room for a tune-up in regard to Faith.
There are grounds for giving freely in Scripture, but not as something wrung out of the flock. Only as the Holy Ghost directs. God loves a cheerful giver. One that has made up his own mind by the promptings of the Holy Ghost. If you give out of the condemnation that any man puts on you by his corrupt view of God's Word, you are in bondage to that man. We are taught that God needs mammon to spread the Gospel of Christ. This is ludicrous, brethren. Yahweh wants nothing to do with mammon.
This has come about in the last 60 or 70 years where the leaders of the church have successfully incorporated the worlds system into what was only to be God's, thereby adulterating the church, turning her into a prostitute. We have gotten so comfortable in accumulating and hoarding up all the personal possesions we can lust after, money market accounts, certificates of deposits, real estate, jewelery that we have separated ourselves from God's grace without us even knowing it. A title that I cannot understand the meaning of and has no place in God's Kingdom is Christian Financial Consultant. Or a Pastor giving seminars on the management of mammon. This has been darknesses plan all along and we have fallen for it. Don't we know what His Word says about the fact that we can't live by the worlds standards and God's too? Jms. 4: 1 - 5 gives the perfect example of this spiritual adultery in the Body of Christ. From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
(2) Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
(3) Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
(4) Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
(5) Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The Spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
(6) But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. God's only standard is grace. This is all He said we would require to walk this walk.
When all is said and done, we all individually will be held accountable for what message we believe and stand on. We have to go to God’s Word to get the message straight from His lips. We cannot stand on what another man believes and teaches. Man is fallible. It will do no good to be in front of our Lord on that great Day and tell Him, But Lord, that’s what I was taught by my pastor. He will have to answer you with, Depart from Me, you knew your Pastor not Me. We have to understand this brethren, by trusting another man to be telling you Truth, you are staking your eternity on what he believes and teaches. I will say this here and I say it many times at my site. Beware, There is another gospel being put forth as truth. Many interpreters and expounders of the Bible today are guilty of this.
Remember Paul's warning in Gal. 1: 6 - 9 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
(7) Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
(8) But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
(9) As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Are completely 100% sure you are listening to the only Gospel of Christ on Sunday? Have you studied yourself approved? Are you continuing to study yourself approved? Remember how Jesus taught, His teaching rarely made the desciples and the masses comfortable. His teaching always convicted man of his unrighteousness. If the preaching we listen to does not continually convict us, edify our spirit man and put to death our carnal nature, it is a corrupt gospel and we should flee from it.
I referred above on the Body of Christ depending on this world's system of operating because this is why we cannot obey His commands. We have separated ourselves from God's grace. Instead of being sanctified for God's use, we're sanctified unto the world. We have chosen to live with mammon as our provider instead of God. Matt. 6: 19 - 24 sums this up perfectly---Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
(20) But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
(21) For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
(22) The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
(23) But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! Please understand verse 23 !
(24) No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
If you hold to worldly possessions then you despise God, plain and simple. We cannot continue with our spiritual blinders on saying it's alright to own and possess worldly treasures. We cannot continue to be fooled into believing just because pastor lives in a $300,000 home and drives a $40,000 car it's okay for us to live the same. And I'm being conservative on those figures. We cannot stay in this spiritual stupor and believe that God knows we need money and things so He doesn't mind if we pursue these things of this world. There can be no compromise. There is no middle of the road.
I'll list all the witnesses in God’s word that I’ve found to date in that we are commanded to obey all that our Lord taught. As my site is always under construction, I know I'll find more verses to testify to this fact and will paste them then. Lk. 11: 27 & 28 And it came to pass, as He spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto Him, Blessed is the womb that bare Thee, and the paps which Thou hast sucked.
(28) But He said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. Jn. 14: 15 If ye love Me, keep My commandments. Jn. 14: 23 & 24 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make Our abode with him.
(24) He that loveth Me not keepeth not My sayings: and the Word which ye hear is not Mine, but the Father's which sent Me. Jn. 15: 10 If ye keep My commandments, ye shall abide in My love; even as I have kept My Father's commandments, and abide in His love. Acts 5: 31 & 32 Him hath God exalted with His right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
(32) And we are His witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey Him. 2 Thess. 1: 7 - 9 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
(8) In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
(9) Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power; These witnesses in 8 & 9 I will amplify. To deal out retribution (chastisement and vengeance) upon those who do not know or perceive or become acquainted with God, and (upon those) who ignore and refuse to obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. (9) Such people will pay the penalty and suffer the punishment of everlasting ruin (destruction and perdition) and eternal exclusion and banishment from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power.
I'll stop here briefly to elaborate a little on these witnesses in Thessalonians. We have to look at this kingdom thing from the correct perspective. It will do no good to reach that great Day only to be ashamed because you didn't know His Word. As Jesus is God's Word; He is the Scriptures in their entirety. If the Apostles just barely got it figured out, having walked, talked and slept with Him, what would become of us if we didn't sacrifice it all? We all have the same calling, The Great Commission. Understanding who we are IN CHRIST is most important in our life, and we can't do that and not have the correct insight into Who He is. 2 Thess. 2: 9 & 12 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
(10) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of The Truth, (the Gospel of Christ) that they might be saved.
(11) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
(12) That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
These warnings by Paul come just prior to his warning about the great falling away of those that profess to know and love God, the apostasia. I say profess because there's a superficial level of knowing of Jesus and a sacrificial level of knowing who you are in Yashua. He’s warning the church about the importance of obeying the one True Gospel of Jesus Christ. He’s also warning that a worker of iniquity will come on the scene and cause this great falling away by the church being made to be deceived into believing lying wonders. Please hear and understand these witnesses in verses 8 & 9. This isn’t vengeance and retribution payed out on a lost world, this is wrath poured out on an unfaithful, unbelieving and adulteress church. There is stricter judgment for someone who dosen't obey the Gospel, yet claims to know Christ. There is a stricter punishment for a child of a parent that willingly disobeys that parent. Some will argue and say these are temporal persecutions and tribulations Paul is refering to that they are having to endure in verse 4 and are caused by the world. I will have to say Paul never considered this type of persecution as he knew that this was inevitable for the church and nothing would stop it. This is the same persecution that was in our Lord's face, the legalists, the ones who claim to know Him. The church. Paul always brought to light and confronted the problems within the church, not without. God's Word is written for the body of Christ, not the world. This is vital that we hear and grasp this fact. It will give us a completely different view of the Gospel of Christ.
Please let me clarify so all will understand and not think this is all fire and damnation. I'm not saying that the new born saved in Christ will not enter into God's Kingdom; after all, what were they saved from in the first place? Surely, one who is on his death bed and gives his life to Jesus, but has no time to understand God's precepts, will end up in the same place as the father, or mature In Christ. But these two stages of the walk are the only two where there is no distinction as to holiness. The new born has not sinned, the father will not willingly sin. I'll be able to clarify this in my one of next subjects, The Four Stages of The Journey.
Our Father is longsuffering, merciful, loving and most of all patient, but how long do we really believe He will stand idly by and watch His children, the ones who claim to love Him and know His ways continue in disobedience and rebellion by not following all of Yashua's teachings? Would you allow your own child to spit in your face? This righteous justice is completely contingent upon whether we obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not this other gospel that is spewed forth from the pulpit to the TV. This one True Gospel of Jesus Christ says in Lk. 6: 20 - 38 Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
(21) Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
(22) Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
(23) Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
(24) But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.
(25) Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.
(26) Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! For so did their fathers to the false prophets.
(27) But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
(28) Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
(29) And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.
(30) Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
(31) And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
(32) For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
(33) And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
(34) And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? For sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
(35) But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for He is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
(36) Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
(37) Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
(38) Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Who would go to a church where the pastor gave the Sermon on the Mount? Or teach that we must lay all of the things of the world aside, take up our cross and follow Him. I venture to say again, the pews would be left cold.
This Sermon on the Mount sums up the one True Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jn. 15: 13 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
(13) Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
(14) Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
(15) Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Yashua isn't talking about giving up your life, or dying for your friends here. He's saying lay down your own wants and desires in this temporal life for your friends. Put your own life on the back burner and meet someone elses needs for a change.
This is a Gospel of laying all down and taking up our cross daily, thereby dying daily unto Jesus. This is a Gospel of suffering for righteousness sake. This is a Gospel of in no way concerning yourself with your own life but concern yourself with another's. One way or the other people, we will have to suffer for Jesus either in this blink of an eye life here or eternity there. If we have made up our mind to follow in His footsteps, we will have to be willing to suffer for Him. If we’re not willing to suffer in this life, we will suffer in the next. Our Lord only teaches a lay it all down and He gives it back principle. By being willing to suffer, God makes the call as to whether He requires you to indeed suffer. This leaves the decision up to Him, where it belongs. If we don't let Him make the decision, the world will make it for us. He will not force us in anyway to do that which we don't wish to do. He won't force righteousness down our throats. He will not overide our own free will. Jesus spoke of this principle of laying it down so God can give it back in His own walk in Jn. 10: 17 Therefore doth My Father love Me, because I lay down My life, that I might take it again. This is The Abrahamic Principle.
Taking up where I left off concerning obedience, I write, Heb. 5: 7 - 9 Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared;
(8) Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered;
(9) And being made perfect, He became the Author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him;1 Pet. 4: 12 - 19 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
(13) But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
(14) If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified.
(15) But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
(16) Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
(17) For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
(18) And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
(19) Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to Him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
Notice verse 17, If we that live in Yahwehs's house. We that claim to know Him and follow all of His precepts are to be judged first; what will the end be of those disobedient and rebellious that don't even know the Gospel of Christ? If we continue to stay in this stupor claiming to know Him and obey Him, yet don't follow all of His teachings, we will most definitely be judged very severely. Lk. 12: 47 & 48 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
(48) But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. This parable is very clear. Taken with the parable above, it can mean nothing else. If we continue in this carnal, fleshly stupor and do not at least make an attempt, at least acknowledge that we are disobedient to Him in some ways, we will be judged more severely than the lost. We cannot continue to spit in His face, brethren. Notice in Lk. 16: 14 - 18 who Yashua is directing His words at. The church. These witnesses are also directed at the Pharisees of today. And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
(15) And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
(16) The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
(17) And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
(18) Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery. Verse 18 seems to be out of place here in the context of the rest. Jn. 4: 4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. This is very clear. We cannot be married to Christ and continue in an adulterous relationship with the world.
I’m going to go into a place here that I know will cause much grinding of teeth and rattling of stones in the church but it is the Truth, so I make no apologies if it bruises.
1 Jn. 2: 3 & 4 And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.
(4) He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. The Amplified text says it this way--- And this is how we may discern (daily, by experience) that we are coming to know Him (to perceive, recognize, understand, and become better acquainted with Him): if we keep (bear in mind, observe, practice) His teachings (precepts, commandments). (4) Whoever says, I know Him (I perceive, recognize, understand, and am acquainted with Him) but fails to keep and obey His commandments (teachings) is a liar. and the Truth (of the Gospel) is not in him. (5) But he who keeps (treasures) His Word (who bears in mind his precepts, who observes His message in its entirety), truly in him has the love of and for God been perfected (completed, reached maturity). By this we may perceive (know, recognize, and be sure) that we are in Him.
Keeping the same frame of mind John is teaching in here, we can look at 1 Jn. 2: 18 & 19. Keep in mind here, John is speaking of the church and not of the world. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
(19) They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. He is saying there are many antichrists (plural) in the church that will separate from the church for one reason alone. These are men and women that have given their life to Yashua but will forsake Him for the other lover, the world. This is going on now in the church. Just because we lie to ourselves and say we are faithful to Jesus doesn't mean it's so. The reason is they have gone out is because they are liars for the denial of the Father and the Son by the disobedience to the One True Gospel of Christ. Please understand, going to church faithfully, tithing faithfully, doesn't unite us to Yashua faithfully. Please look back at verse 4. This is the same liar. The ones who have gone out from the Gospel of Christ.
In Jn. 8: 51 & 55 (amp) Jesus is in one of the many confrontations with the Pharisees, or the church, and this is still going on today. I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone observes My teaching (lives in accordance with My message, keeps My Word), he will by no means ever see and experience death. (55) Yet you do not know Him or recognize Him and are not acquainted with Him, but I know Him. If I should say that I do not know Him, I would be a liar like you. But I know Him and keep His Word (obey His teachings, am faithful to His message). Notice Jesus's words above in bold. Another way of saying it is, If I say that I do know Him, I would be a liar like you. The whole purpose of Christ sacrificing His Life Blood, was to reconcile a sinful, disbelieving, rebellious, disobedient people back to the Father. Now as Heb. 5: 8 says ~ Though he were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered; We are also called sons of God. How can we think we can do any less for our Father?
Bringing to attention 1 Jn 2: 22 being that we are on the subject of liars. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. The Amplified text says it this way ~ Who is (such a) liar as he who denies that Jesus is The Christ (the Messiah)? He is the antichrist (the antagonist of Christ), who (habitually) denies and refuses to acknowledge the Father and the Son. This is the same liar John is speaking of in verse 4. The liar that says they know Christ, yet doesn’t follow His precepts, His teachings, His commandments in their entirety, to the letter! Please look back at 2 Thess.1: 8 & 9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
(9) Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power; Most expounders on God's Word say the church will not experience God's wrath. The above witness says different.
Rev. 3: 5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before His angels. It's not enough to say we believe in Jesus, even demons shudder at His name. We have to believe and obey the Gospel He came proclaiming. It's a twofold walk. Salvation through faith in His sacrifice and santification through His Gospel that He preached. This Gospel that He is. There’s is only one way to overcome and that’s to believe on Jesus Christ and the One True Gospel that He came preaching. If Jesus is saying He will not blot our name out if we overcome, then He will blot it out if we don't. Rev.12: 10 & 11 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. (11) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. What is this Word that we testify to? In short this witness says; They overcome by Jesus's sacrifice and their testimony to the Gospel that this Christ came proclaiming. This is the only way to overcome this world.
I say again it’s not enough people, if we say we believe in Jesus. In this saying we have to also believe and obey the Gospel He came to proclaim. He is this Gospel as Rev. 19: 13 (kjv) says And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God. Again, the Blood of Jesus ~ salvation. The Word of God ~ santification.
Jn. 6: 45 - 51 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto Me.
(46) Not that any man hath seen the Father, save He which is of God, He hath seen the Father.
(47) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me hath everlasting life.
(48) I am that Bread of Life.
(49) Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. They are dead for only one reason, because they disobeyed God's commands. They failed to believe in the Gospel Yashua that was just as surely preached to them as us. They murmmered and complained.
(50) This is the Bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
(51) I am the Living Bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this Bread, he shall live for ever: and the Bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
This Bread is the manna of obedience to His Word. There is only one thing this Living Manna can be. As the manna in the wilderness was food for the body, this Living Manna is food for the spirit. This can only be the Truth of His Word. Exodus 16: 4 Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in My law, or not. He says, whether they will obey my commands to the letter. (5) And it shall come to pass, on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.
Rev.2: 16 & 17 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. What in the world could this Word of His mouth be? His Word of Truth.
(17) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, I will tell him the inner secrets of My Word and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. This hidden manna is the Word that is diligently sought and fought for in order to fully understand it. This is the same Manna Jesus preached that was hidden from the masses in parables, but revealed to the ones who diligently followed in His footsteps and were always sitting at His feet. This is the inner secrets and mysteries of God that He desires to tell all His children. 1 Jn. 5: 3 & 7 (amp) bears witness to this Truth For the (true) love of God is this: that we do His commands (keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching). And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppressive, or grievous). (7) So there are three witnesses in heaven: The Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are One.
We have to understand brethren, any form of disobedience to God’s Word is rebellion to God. Rebellion is sin. 1 Jn. 3: 9 & 10 (amp) No one born (begotten) of God (deliberately, knowingly, and habitually) practices sin, for God's nature abides in him (His principle of life, the divine sperm, remains permanently within him); and he cannot practice sinning because he is born (begotten) of God. (10) By this it is made clear who takes their nature from God and are His children and who take their nature from the devil and are his children: no one who does not practice righteousness (who does not conform to God's will in purpose, thought, and action) is of God; neither is anyone who does not love his brother (his fellow believer in Christ).
This sin of pride that caused Satan to rebel is the original sin. He passed it on to Adam and Eve, they rebelled, and then they in turn passed it on to us today where we fail to follow His commands in the same way. Every seed produces after it's own kind. Gen. 1: 11 & 12. This divine sperm that is implanted in us has to grow to full term. Gal. 4: 19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, This is the same seed that produced Jesus in Mary's womb. The Holy Spirit.
Since this act of rebellion separated us from God, the only way back to the Father is in complete obedience to God by following His precepts and statutes in their entirety, to the letter which Yashua preached and which He physically is. I have to make this completely clear, these are not the commandments of the Old Covenant. That Covenant has been fulfilled and ammended by Jesus. This is vital that we understand this. Disobedience to Gods precepts and teachings is rebellion and a form of worship and paying homage to the beast. Thereby a complete allegiance to God and His precepts is worship unto God.
Rev. 14: 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the Faith of Jesus. Those who keep the commandments of God and the Faith of Jesus. What is and was the Faith of Jesus ? Only to do His Fathers will and nothing else.
Jn. 4: 34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of Him that sent Me, and to finish His work Jn. 5: 30 I can of Mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and My judgment is just; because I seek not Mine own will, but the will of the Father which sent me.Jn. 6: 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent Me. As He was sent, so are we also to do the Fathers will and nothing else.
Listen Brethren, in the past 150 years or more we (the church) have been lulled into a spiritual sleep, almost unto spiritual death. This slumber has come about by the preaching of this other gospel. We are in very perilous times to be in the position to not be sure of the word we hear and stand on. He can come like a thief in the night and we are not awake and prepared! Only the One True Gospel of Christ will awake us from this sleep. We had better heed this warning, There will be no second chances !
These orders in Mt. 28: 19 & 20 by our Lord Jesus are used quite frequently in the church when it comes to baptizing, but I have to say, the most important part of these commands are not met by the same church. The part about obeying all things whatsoever He has commanded. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
(20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
