Do you accept Major's Challenge?

Look for some creativity & diversity in our services this Summer. We have given several nights over to youth leadership and will feature many guest musical groups. We will also enjoy an informal picnic series with hot dogs for passersby.

Beavermead provides an excellent opportunity for outreach and evangelism. Here's a challenge - let your light shine all over Beavermead this summer. Reach out & touch someone in the name of Jesus, their life will never be the same, and neither will yours!

Vacation Bible School

Celebration Station is the theme of our V.B.S. which we call "Tuesday Night Terrific". We will meet August 4th - August 31st, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the Temple gymnasium. All boys & girls between 5 & 12 years of age are welcome. Call the office phone number on the Contacts page if you are interested.

Community & Family Services

The Corps Cadets have made the connection with the CAS Dept. through Leadership Training Activities. They regularly visit our senior shut-ins & in the Spring toured the Family Services Dept. Presently they are saving money to fill a "Newborn Gift Bag" for the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. In August the Corps Cadets will be teaching "Tuesday Night Terrific".

Editors Note: Salvation Army Corps Cadets (under the direction of V.O.N. & Salvationist, Joanne Shadgett), are active young people between the ages of 13 & 17.
