Newark, Nov. 21, - Barton DeHond, 81 years old, died yesterday afternoon at his home near Stebbins Corners after an illness of several months.
Mr. DeHond is survived by his wife; four sons, John, Edward and Gilbert, of Albion, and Barton, Jr., of Rochester, and eight daughters, Mrs. Emanuel Gilbert, of Albion; Mrs. Abram Ameele, of Williamson; Mrs. Clayton Cornwall, of Newark; Mrs. William Granger, of Plainsville, Mich.; Mrs. Isaac Miller, and Mrs. George Gruele, of Auburn, Miss Anna DeHond, of Gloversville, and Mrs. Elmer Verdow, of East Williamson. Funeral services will be held from the home at 2 o'clock on Friday afternoon, with Rev. Benjamin DeYoung, of the Dutch Reformed Church, officiating. Burial will be made in Fairville cemetery.
