MsJoys Shar-Pei began in 1984, when I saw a calendar with a Chinese Shar-Pei
on it and decided that I must have one. In 1985, I purchased my first Chinese Shar-Pei, a fawn horsecoat
male. By 1986, the show bug had bitten and I purchased a black brushcoat show puppy, whose registered
name was Ch. Remingtons Joy of Pandora, OFA, TT. I showed Joy to her CSPCA Championship. In
1987 a new show puppy was purchased,a red brushcoat who I named "Molly", she would go on to become CSPCA
BISS CH. Hotei Castle Good GolyMsMoly, OFA and also showed her to her championship.. By combining
the "Joy" in Remingtons' Joy of Pandora and the MS in Hotei Castle GoodGolyMsMoly, the MsJoys Kennel
designator was registered with the Chinese Shar-Pei club of America, in 1986. Since that time,
I have gone on to breed many Champion AKC Chinese Shar-Pei, in a very limited breeding program. Not
a kennel, 3 champion couch potatoes have run of my home. "Molly" Molly passed away at age 14 and it took a lot out of me! Ch.MsJoys I'm No Angel, OFA, ROM "Sassy" is now the matriarch in the house. She turned 10 on 8/27/03. She has Champion Veteran kids of her own now. Rarely, puppies are available to loving, indoor, show homes, with contracts and guarantees. Since I don't often have puppies, I will recommend good reputable breeders, without hesitation. Feel free to ask.
I also offer Champion, OFA, stud service, to approved bitches. I have finished many Chinese Shar-Pei and now am an AKC Judge. Please email, or call EST, for more information
about me, or the dogs. Showing and breeding dogs is a labor of love and a hobby that I am very passionate
about. I believe that all prospective Chinese Shar-Pei owners need to be made aware of the inherent
health problems in the breed and must gauge for themselves, through extensive research and information,
if this is a breed that is best suited to their lifestyle and expectations. I hope you enjoy
my website and my dogs. I am very proud of them and I think it shows. Leslie Michaels
